Well, I finally got some art done.

I graduated from college and I am so thankful.

I am still working on my cobra, "Jeri Style."

I hope to finish "Lord of Bling" (S15) also.

I finished this Evo. The hood is a lil messed up. I had problems with blue and gray. I like the front rim best. I added some kind of abstract background and street. That was a first, I usually don't add anything. The street needs to be lighter next time.

This is actually a photo not a scan. If anyone is interested in learning how to photograph art let me know and I will look up and post the book I read on how to do that. I don't like the scanner because it requires more that one scan for large artwork.

The metal almost looks like a mirror.
It really picks up the environment.
I love the lights! Really nice colors.
The backtground rocks too.
Looks like streaks of rain :)
I think both wheels look great!

I don't understand what's going on in the interior, there are two curvy lines there and I can't find out what they are for. Other than the interior I really like the drawing and the painting is fantastic.

Only the top of the windshield looks a bit off. But it's beautiful anyway.

Al, great to see another rendering from you. This one is great! The reflections and rims are awesome, so are the headlights. Keep it up.

Thx everyone. Ran, Knightvision, good catch on the windshield. Those curvy lines are suppose to be on the top of the glass so I need to carry the lines past the banner and all the way down to the wipers. This would clear up the confusion on what the heck is inside the car. :)

Yes, it is mixed w/ gouache (white) and marker and pastel. I want to do an entire painting w/ gouache just havn't had the time.

Al.. nice work. The reflections and wheels are super. I like how you do the little things in the headlights to make them come to life.. Referrring to the swiggles on the windshield (someone else's comment).. I thought they were just reflective lines sans shadowing... anyway, keep up the good work. Robo

yes, al, i love mixed media. i use whatever i can to get an effect. i really like gouache, as well. i often use it for highlights. i've never done an entire work in gouache. it seems really difficult.
