squeaking noise!

My question is what is wrong with my car because when i drive it and turn it makes a squeaky noise or like tik, tik, etc. when i go strait it doesn't make any noise. can anyone tell me what is wrong with the car? by the way it is a 91 sentra se-r.

Well, sounds like you have 2 problems. The first isn't too common on B13 SE-Rs like yours. It's either your power steering belt(if it's a kinda screeching squeak), but most likely your power steering pump(which is more like a water-ish sounding squeak). The tick-tick is either one or both of your CV joints. They are dry because your CV boots are split and have leaked out all their lube. Neither is a real emergency, but neither is too expensive to get fixed either. Get the PS pump looked at before you have to get a new one tho.
