4 cylinder to v6 question??????

hey does n e body know if you can swop out a 2.3 engine for the v6 and use the same tranny. cause i know that the clutch parts are the same and i just thought that you could.

With all the work involved, have you considered a v8 swap? :) I know the 2.6L/2.8L/2.9L/4.0L (ohv) are the same bellhousing, but I am not sure if the 2.3L is too...

it the engine mounts the same for the v8 swap from a 4 cylinder? please give me clues as to what i need and can get for the swap to be done from top to bottom.

its a cheaper trans and cannot handle the hp, from what i found
