Graphics are actually unbelieveable. The actualy gameplay is of PS2 qualirty yet it slightly resembles the needed pixel smoothing and anti-aliasing that can be found from the original PS. I highly recommend it over the Nintendo if you wanted something of this nature.
Yea, I'm also waiting for PS3, can't wait for that to come out however, not until end of next year the mags are saying, or at least what I heard.
Since I had a limited amount of money, I could only get one game, so I ended up with Need For Speed Rivals. It's pretty sick.

My friend said the exact same thing that the graphics are that of Ps2.

Not quite...I'll try and get a pick or a quick vid of the gameplay and show you guys. The graphics are very similar, the video playback is of DVD and PS2 quality but the gameplay is again very similar, but still resembles the needed pixel smoothing and anti-aliasing that can be found from the original PS

I've had my PSP for a week and i dont have any dead pixels. Who knows how long it will last. I love it tho, makes long car rides and other boring things go by really fast. I dont like bringing it with me around friends cuz they all wanna play it and then I never have it. Oh well, oh btw did yours still come with Spiderman 2? Bcuz i think only the first like 100,000 or 1,000,000 had it so im not sure. Oh, and do you know how to get music on it? Bcuz I have tons of songs on my computer from cds and I dont know how to change it to MP3 format or whatever. If you know how i'd really be happy to know. Thanks.

Nope, no Spider-Man 2. And, it's one of the thigns I'm not happy about, is that the USB connector for your PC, you have to buy separate. Not really sure what it is, but my friend who had a PSP before me at my school had one for his PC. About the songs, I think you can keep them in the original format, and by using the USB connector you copy the songs to the memory stick used for game saves etc, or a blank recordable UMD (<< that one I'm really unsure about, so dont trust me on that one lol). THere's a 1GB memory stick out for the PSP, meant for music storage, photos, movie clips etc.
And BTW, does anyone know any good file hosting websites or servers, like for video clips so I can record and show you folks the graphics of the PSP?

Will the PS3 be backwards compatible with Xbox games?
Also, the 360 comes out a half year earlier than the PS3 will. I'm getting both systems anyways, no point in arguing.

You sure you checked the Music icon, and did you click memory stick? If it says "free Space" and it's a relatively high number, the songs may not even have gotten to the memory. Does the PC say it was successfully transfered? I haven't gotten the stuff yet myself but I'll try and help by circumstance.
And no more arguing. Take this "PS3 is better than Xbox 360" crap back to the "I Hate Xbox" thread. This isn't the place for it.

I could suggest formatting your memory stick. BUt I'm not sure if you wanna do that if you have game saves.

What are the games on? Cartridge? Mini-CD or mini-DVD?
I'm jealous - would make classes far more interesting :D
BTW, I just noticed a somewhat uncanny resemblance to the old Sega Game Gear :D

i had the sega gamegear(which was basically a PSP-looking thing, handheld, ran on 6 AAs, FULL COLOR, etc) when the original gameboy was out. it must have been about 10-11 years ago.
its funny how this crap is just now catching on. btw im never getting sega again. the gamegear was immediately obsolete since it never really took off, same with the dreamcast. i have a ps2 now and love it. im not a big fan of handheld games, but i wouldn't mind a ps3 when it comes out. or a psp if they didn't cost so much. :banghead:

The Sega Nomad was released in 1995, about the same time as the Sega Saturn (http://www.vidgame.net/SEGA/SATURN.html). The unit featured a 3" passive matrix LCD screen and an amazing backlit function. Like Sega's previous handheld console, the Game Gear (http://www.vidgame.net/SEGA/GGEAR.html), the Nomad allowed players to play their games in the dark, without use of an extra light. The unit functioned as a Sega Genesis (http://www.vidgame.net/SEGA/GEN1.html) in essence. It could play the Sega Genesis (http://www.vidgame.net/SEGA/GEN1.html) cartridges and even accepted an extra controller in the bottom of the unit for playing two player titles. Because the Genesis (http://www.vidgame.net/SEGA/GEN1.html) cartridges were 16 bit, so was the Nomad. The six button function of the Nomad mocked the six button controller (http://www.vidgame.net/SEGA/peripherals.htm) that was starting to be packaged with the home Genesis units and played the newer games that made use of this function with ease. Also thought of by Sega, was the fact you could play the Nomad on the TV. People did not have to buy the whole home console without the ease of portability, all they had to do was buy the Nomad and have both. It utilized the Genesis 2 (http://www.vidgame.net/SEGA/GEN2.html) RF switch to hook it up to a TV. The unit was accompanied at purchase by a battery pack that held 6 AA batteries. CPU: Motorola 68000 @ 7.68 MHz + Z80 @ 4Mz (sound CPU) 16-Bit RAM 64 KB Screen Resolution: 320x244 Max Colors on screen: 61 (512 available) Max Sprites: 80, 20 per scanline Sound Channels: 6 FM, 3 PSG, 1 PCMTo see the different software available for this system, please click here (http://www.vidgame.net/SEGA/gensoft.htm).Bottom of the Sega Nomad:1.
