'92 lesabre electrical problems

i drove my '92 lesabre though +2 feet of water and now my interior lights stay on, the radio and hvac controls cut out when i open either front door or open the glove box. every time the door is closed the radio and hvac reset to default (a.m. 1400 on the radio and defrost on the hvac), and the door chime seems to run backwards, i.e. it sounds like it's playing backwards. also, there is an intermittent clicking sound from under the passenger side dash when the car is first started. i checked the relays under there and they dont seem to be the problem, though i'm not 100% sure. no water got into the interior and the car never stalled out.

i hate to admit it, but, i have a 93 lesabre with the same problem resulting from the same high water. i didnt make the correlation of driving through the water and the electrical problems until it was too late. oh, and i should mention that the problems didnt occur for a day or two after the event.

anybody have any thoughts on what's faulty? it's driving me nuts and feel pretty stupid for making the same mistake twice.
