Center Console

I have a '02 Ranger with a center cupholder thing under the radio stuff...
I dont know what else it is other than the center console. Anyway I have been trying to remove it with no luck. I cannot find where its connected to the truck. Can anyone help me?

At the bottom of the cup holder there should be a circular piece of rubber (for spills). Lift that out and you will see a screw type round plug. Turn that 1/4 turn and the do the other cup holder. Then push the console back toward he seat and out of a slot under the consule, You may need to hold bown in the center of the console
