amateur/pro photo

I'm not quite sure this is the most appropriate forum for this but I figured I'd give it a shot and see if y'all can help point me in the right direction. I am an amateur photographer (who will be considered pro once Colorado gives me a tax number--fun) with an affinity for motor racing of all types and antique cars. I use digital but am a purist at heart so don't do much manipulating, especially of the older stuff which tends to be close to perfection! I'm seeking ways to get people to see my stuff and I'm not quite sure how best to do that without going to shows. I really want to make use of my web gallery that will be up by the end of next week but those don't seem to draw much attraction. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch!!
