Thanks to all contribute to this great forum.
93 2.2l
Line is leaking right under drivers side door. If I'm not mistaken, looks as if its one piece running all the way from the tank to engine.
Has anyone ever replaced one of these lines. Hard fix? Does the tank have to dropped. Also, could I get a quick fix by wrapping a piece of rubber and crimp down with a tiny hose gasket. (This worked on a water line once)
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
BTW, anyone know the ballpark cost of this feul line.

You can buy straighd metal line at any parts store. then just cut out the bad section and replace. IF you can find rubber line for fuel injection this is a 20 minute repair. You will not need to drop the tank.
Good Luck.

Are you talking about cutting the bad section out and replacing w/ new. If this were done, how would you connect the new with the existing lines?
Thanks

You could try finding high pressure fuel line, cutting the fuel line where it is leaking, and double clamp the rubber fuel line in place. I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work.

You should try welding it.
