Hey Guys!
I am just wondering what that plug which goes onto the throttle body with the green wire is called. It is my understanding that it has a plug and a sensor in it. Someone else who has the stupid surging idle problem said that when he pulled it off, the rpms skyrocketed so he figured it was that plug. He spliced in a friends plug and his idle was fine. Mine does the same thing so I want to try and pick up one of those plugs, and I need to know what it is called.
Anyone from Virginia know of a junk yard near Herndon?? I may just try that out, but I don't know where anything here is.
thanks!!!!

Just a single wire? Sounds like the throttle closed switch. When the throttle plate is close, that switch has to take that green wire to ground or the ECU wont go into closed loop control of idle speed. On a 2g its the extra pin on the TPS, on a 1g its that one wire and switch. Check that the switch is working by testing for continuity to ground at that connector. Open the throttle by hand and the meter should go infinite/open.
