i just want to know how to replace it (ie. take the old one out and put a new one in) without going to an external source (like the dealer).

The best way to keep the stock integra antenna always working, is regular maintenance. Whenever you wash your teg, take some paper towel, WD-40, and any type of lubricant..oil. Spray you antenna with WD-40 and wipe it with the paper towel... maybe a few times depending how dirty it is. After take your oil and lubricate the antenna a bit. Then power the antenna up and down a few time (just the lubricate the antenne thoroughly). And it should be fine. I recommend doing this on a regular basis.
