Please be a little more specific...What year is the car and what exactly is the problem? I've had my hands on the hydraulics for the T56 VERY recently and can probably help if i could understand the question.

2000 V-6 Maro T-5. Ok, the clutch pedel is stuck and unmoveable after installing a new clutch and hooking the tranny back up, i went to put the hydro. line back into that little caseing on the side of the bellhousing and it doesnt get snug. i got it on the best i could and the clutch pedel is still jammed...

i didnt know what they were called....so thingy best fits the catagory...i think...Do you think i need to bleed the system? oh..does it help to say i havent refilled the tranny oil yet?

If you the pedle will not move i would think there is a kink in the line or its plugged. Other than that i am not sure sorry.

I would not think that the tranny oil would affect the clutch going in and out. If you did not fill the clutch fluid you would not have any back pressure on your peddle and should stay on the floor. I think.

It never went to the floor when i dropped the tranny. it stayed stiff at the top figured it was just the hydro. pressure..but now the line wont feed into the caseing on the bellhousing..or better yet get snug with it like it was.

I guess i would have to see it. I'm getting the "it's a thingy connected to a thingy" stuck in my head...The hydraulics on the T56 need to be bled and i dont know why your pedal would be stuck and not moving unless the slave cylinder ("thiny in the bellhousing") is jammed and not able to work the clutch. Make sure the slave cylinder is in correctly and the system is bled and there shouldn't be a problem.

Does the 98+ cars not have a fork in the bellhouseing? when i looked, all i had was a spring connected to the throw out bearing, and it was really loose, looser now with the new TOB. BUT the pedel was jammed even with the tranny out of the car.

HMMMM i dunno, i didn't have my tranny/engine combo apart so i couldn't tell you how the T56 clutch works...I know the LT1 is diff from the LS1 clutch. Wish i could help you more but without seeing it i cant be of much help.

No worries, i understand the need to see it thing. its just really odd..the pedel just wont budge...this whole thing is just a headack and a half. about to pay a shop to figure it out..

Ha....hate to dumbfound you all, it was just because i didnt push hard enough on the line to get it snug with the bellhousing casing.. it starts now...it just gots no tranny oil so when i start it it sounds like something is banging ...really bad...
