I own this book, and I must say that it helped a TON when I had just started to learn about turbos and turbo systems. However, it's tough for me to pick it up now and actually read something I don't already know or have read about. I think the book is great for people who are just being introduced to turbos, but anyone with intermediate/advanced knowledge of turbos will probably find the book to be absolutely no help at all.

I just Finished reading these books. I spent the better portion of that trip on Corky Bells Maximum Boost. That's a wonderfull writen Turbo/Intercooler refrence book. I also picked up a book by the name of "Auto Math" that I hadn't mentioned. Auto Math is fantastic. I suggest everyone intrested in understanging the math behind performance & suspention to pick up this book.
By "FAR" the best book out of all of them is "How to Tune and Modify Engine Managements Systems by Jeff Hartman"! It is absolutly incrediable! I suggest everyone buy that book. It is Extreamly Advanced! Its goes over in detail just about everything behind EMS tuning! All the other books don't hold a candle to this book. Buy it!
Unless your only intrested in turbos/intercooler. then its Corky Bell.
