i need a tib

i currently have a honda , hate it , and want an 03 tibouron gt with manuel trans , if anybody knows where i can get one of these let me know i.e i live in alabama but will travel to get one thanx

yes there is a dealership around me ahh i live in montgomery al and am right down the road from the hyundai plant but you see im 17 and poor as well you get the picture and the dealership doesnt have any 03's more less if thay did i couldnt get it, well my dad is helping me buy the car but the car but really doesnt want to spend but about 10-11k and thats stretching it he would rather me not have a gt but i want the gt so any help would be great in finding a used one well thanx

Base 2003 gt white 6 speed 38,000. i think were in it around $14k. mabie $13k. i had a lady who bought a fully loaded 04 silver 5 speed Gt 9 months ago come in today wanting to upgrade to the SE model with a sunroof. credit, income wouldn't alow her to do it. the acv was $14k with 12,000 miles. so i dont think i can make you a killer deal on the used 03's we have, were in them a little heavy. they'll probably goto the auction soon.

why an 03? might i ask? if you have 10k to spend... why not get an 01-02 5spd and use like 4k on mods? It's not a v6, but imo they look better and the engine (from what i've researched) has a wider selection of mods and improvements. Just a thought of course...

well not the 4cyl tib nisco is talking about... there is NO lack of power there... that thing is awesome... and the handling is fine on mine.. i don't see why it would be that much different.. cept maybe the little bit of weight difference in the engine, but it's not much

stock for stock the GT (v6) will out perform the I4 (4 cyl)
handling wise.. youll be fine.. and add a few strut bars and sway bars and what not, youll be fine....

i4 easier to turbo... plain and simple
v6... right now anyway.... easier to s/c

yeah so on this past saturday (yesterday) i drove an 05 5- speed tiburon it wasnt the gt but it still felt like it had a little bit of power and handled pretty good and the interior was admiarable and all in all yeah i really wouldnt care if i didnt get a gt now i just want a tib but have to sell my car first. and thanx i found a couple of them on auto trader and would already have bought one but yet again i have to sell my car first but thanx for the suggestion

thats kool but see my dad heard all of this crap about tiburons being built bad before 2003 and so thats the oldest i could get which really narrows down the choices, but hey thanx for lookin out

well... i'd go for the gks just because the look waaay better.. thats why i got mine... was lookin at an older tib and just couldn't bring myself to get it

well, i know a person who has an 03 and my girl drives an 01... she has only had to replace the radiator cap... he's already been in the shop twice on the tranny and once on a misfire in the engine.. i don't think it's a fair thing to say the 01's were built bad when there's not alot to back that up
