staling on start

ok my buddy who has the 95 4cyl auto, is complaining to me that when he starts the car it stals out after about 2 secs. when he gives it gas his car hesitats for a sec then the RPMs move. doesnt matter if the car is in park or in drive always does it. once the car warms up its fine.

P.S. he had the wireing harness replaiced at a ford dealer so thats not it.

id start with the fuel filter.

nope not it just did that today. we also changed spark plugs and wires. champ. plus and motorcraft wires.
