I just lower my 01 z24 about a month ago, on bumpy roads there is a squeeking sound, any ideas on what it is and is it a problem?

We'll need more info than just that. Define "squeak," tell where it's coming from.
...and dear god, when you say you lowered it, don't say you did something stupid like buy cheap springs (dropzone, maybe) and left your stock struts on there. You will be shot if you did.

Sprint lowering springs, KYB AGX struts. When you are driving on a bumpy road, and the car starts bouncing a little bit there is a squeeking noise coming from the front. But after the bumps everything is fine. Not too noticable at high speeds, but when im going down like a neighborhood road you can hear it. I dont know if that helps much but thats about the best i can describe it.

Worn out strut mount.
... I am currently looking in solid steel polyurethane ones for myself but that 170 buck price tag is keeping me away from them for now.

If you dont' replace the strut mounts with the struts, they'll wear 10 times the speed and you wind up in this situation.

^^^ I know this!
I've installed about 4 different suspension setups in j-body's. I have heard how these solid steel ones have been working for people and i want a set! And yes i swapped new ones in when i did mine.

I know YOU know that. The guy who made the thread probably didn't, though. Thus, I explained it.

should the mounts be replaced asap?

Not changing them ASAP won't hurt anything. But its a good idea to get them done sometime soon. Prolonged abuse on the struts can cause a Valve inside the strut to go and then you'll have 2 things new to buy.
