Wideband O2 Sensor.

Hi,
I'm getting a wideband 02 sensor soon (i want to order it tonight) i was planning on getting the "Zeitronix Zt-2" it is cheap and basically what i want does anyone have a better suggestion?

Thats a pretty poluplar choice. There are many available now. I've been running the techedge unit for a long time now. Don't know how I got along (and ran 11s) without it :)

I got the O2 and installed it it works great, i haven't really had too much time to tune my car but it is really nice, the only problem i had was it didn't come with a display, i have a laptop and planned on using it anyway, i'm also going to get the egt probe for it (only $65). I've neve used any other wideband but this work great and comes with good software for datalogging.

I Wouldnt bother with EGT, with a WBO2 it shouldnt be needed. BUt more data is better, so it wont hurt either! Just dont put too much weight in the EGT readings, all it is really good for is telling you where your ignition timing is ;)

Congrats on getting the WBO2. I feel that should be one of the first mods done. Of course I waited 3 or so years to get one, and wished I had done it 3 years earlier :)

Yes, the use of a Zeitronix WB02 has been incorporated into dsmlink so that you can log the WB02 values with dsmlink. I'm pretty sure it is wired up just like any other WB02 with dsmlink.

TEchedge was the first to be supported by DSMlink, but now many others are as well. And getting one added is as simple as posting the voltage to AFR correlation on the dsmlink forums.

They can be wired in several ways. I chose to wire mine into the MAP sensor input if you are no longer using themap sensor (disable EGR CEL). You can also use the rear O2 input if you are no longer using rear o2 (disable cat CEL). If you are using the MAFT, you can now also use the baro and IAT inputs, if you lock them down in dsmlink. On a 1g, EGR temp input becomes an option too IIRC.

Many ways to do it. Logging it IN dsmlink is the only way I would do it. This way the data lays right over the rest of your log perfectly. No bs. Its even on the same scale as DSMlink's AFR calculated.

I looked at the Zeitronix Zt-2 also but that was like 400. I got the PLX M300 instead logging with the DSMlink. it even has the display so you monitor a/f when not logging.@ $315 it sounded good to me
