how to change cluster light

how do i change my stock greenish instrument cluster light to a white or blue?...is it the 194 bulb i need to change?..anyone know the steps to doing it?...thanx in advance..btw this is for a 93 toy pickup

The color is actually from the gauge face, most of the bulbs will be clear. Some of the other bulbs like blinkers will be green. You just have to start taking all the dash pieces, they are mostly just screwed in. Watch out for the the piece/lip above the gauge cluster it breaks easy because it clips in as well as a couple screws

IF the bulbs behind the cluster are the same as the one behind the climate control cluster - the bulbs are clear with a green plastic cover over them - giving you the green color. If don't replace the green cover on the bulb the cluster will have a more white appearance.
