Thanks...unfortunately I cannot take credit for owning this gem. It in fact belongs to by buddy, who was gracious enough to let me race anything I saw on the street for an entire day...with him in the passenger seat wearing a shit eating grin the whole time!!!

Who would'nt?...well, maybe someone with a faster car would'nt, but still! It's such a nice car to drive. Gets like 30 mpg with 400 rwhp too...fast and economical!!

The car had 88,000 on the clock, and just had a rebuild (pistons, rings, bearings) 15k ago, along with just about everything else under the hood replaced (radiator, hoses, water pump, fuel pump, injectors etc...). My friend payed 19,000...it was a friggin steal.

:screwy:
The car gets around 26 mpg with 200 whp, how could it possibly get 30 mpg with double that hp? No chip will increase mpg with double the power of the stock car.

I believe it's because of the tuning and blower that it's able to burn up every last bit of fuel that enters the combustion chambers. At any rate, the onboard pc says so, and I believe it. Because a full day of floorbording the gas pedal bearly ran down just over 1/3 of a gas tank...
But regaurdless if the onboard pc is correct, the thing goes forever on a just a few drops of fuel.
Thank you for your concern though :grinyes:

You're a funny man. Adding a blower and 200 whp isn't gonna make the mpg go up, especially not while flooring it.
Try bimmerforumsdotcom. Those guys who have blowers in their E36 M3s get about 15 mpg. Even with different software you wouldn't be able to double that.

He might have low compression pistons for the blower, and tuned really lean, just barely safe. I beleive the whole 30 mpg thing. The thing looks great.

30mpg on any e36 m3 seems awfully high. I get about 10 track/18 city/23 highway on my supercharged car.
If the person is using their OBC to report mileage, that could be the source of the error as the computer is not accounting for the larger injectors. My computer reports anywhere from 30-40mpg on a given tank

Oh and that blown gasket... hope your buddy gets it fixed soon!
List of kills from 2 weeks ago on tuesday night (the only night we had it running cause we blew the gasket)
-1999 (give or take a year) turbo Integra
-1986 306 mustang notchback (runs a [email protected] in the 1320, my friends car). Race was from 2nd gear at 30 mph up to somewhere in 4th gear, we had 4 cars by the end at maybe 110 mph.
-2000+ 5 series BMW, this had exhaust and maybe a couple other mods from what I could tell. I didn't even bother to down shift on him, just left it in 4th and pulled away. I stuck my head out the window a bit and looked back and I could see the kids mouth just hanging open, that was priceless!
We beat up on some other random vehicles as well that night that tried to run us(everybody tries to race this car for some reason), maybe 5 or 6 more, but I can't remember most of them because it was 2 weeks ago. There will be more race stories shortly along with vids of the good ones via a 4 mega pixel dig cam(this thing takes great vids).
As for the head gasket issue...it is being solved as we speak. The car should be ready to rock by next tuesday, along with the aquamist system being fixed(needs fuse and methanol).
And as far as the gas mileage issue, I never said we get 30 mpg while on full throttle(that's rediculous), I mearly stated that it gets great mileage even WHILE making full throttle runs all day. And I still wouldnt be surprised if it got 30 mpg just cruising around.

Obviously you will get the best MPG on the highway. Like I said, if the OBC is telling you 30 mpg, it's not taking the bigger injectors into consideration. Everyone else seems to get under 20 mpg in the city (usually around 17 mpg)
But not to take attention away from the car, those things can be badass.
Just as an example, here's an M that makes 505 whp and 516 lb/ft of torque. In this video he "only" made about 450 whp, racing a 600 whp Supra.

Warning, it's 114 mb.

It's cool, no hard feelings. I could very well be wrong. See, I drive a truck that gets around 11-12 mpg...on a good day. So this thing seems like it gets about 50 mpg to me :grinyes:
It's just amazing to me that we could spend all day hauling ass on just 1/3 of a tank. Could of fooled me on the 30 mpg.

Don't worry, you'll get your chance...it should have a couple other goodies by then as well. Mostly suspension stuff, but maybe a go-fast-goodie or two as well :evillol:
I wish my mullet-machine would be ready by then, but I doubt it :disappoin, Would be nice to stretch it's so called "legs" against a worthy advisary.
