Does anyone know if these turbo kits are any good.

It seems that they are missing all the intercooler piping. Are they missing anything else?
If one were to put this on a stock LS and run moderate boost 6-7psi how much life would it take out of the engines durability/longevity?
Thanks

FLEX PIPE THAT MANIFOLD!
most people laugh at the SSautochrome kit and the manis but once they are flexpiped they run awesome easy to tune big nice spooling turbine honestly its not as bad as the band wagoners here will tell you.
If you got that flex piped it *see how important it is I said it twice* tuned well you will last a good long time.

Sorry I am a new-b but I am not a dumb kid just lookin for a hot rod. If I were to do it I would do it right. Can you explain what flexpiped does or is?
Thanks

of no problem at all flex piping is kinda what it sounds like i can't really explain what the stuff is but a semi bendable piping. Doing this on the SSautochrome exhuast manifold takes a bunch of stress off the mani and will insure it never cracks *they have a bad rap for cracking*
My buddy and his shop has had great suscess and now hes sponsered by SSautochrome.
Thanks

Would it be possible to just buy another manifold from a more "reputable" company?
What else would this kit need other than intercooler piping?
How hard is it to install a basic turbo setup? I heard the most dificult thing is drilling the holes for the oil lines? Is this true?
Thanks

If you wanted you could just get one from another brand.
I/C piping is all but as site said turbo timer isn't bad, me i'd looking into a local shop get it tuned with chrome.
Depending how good you are with working on cars it ca be easy or not. I'd say yea oil lines are the hardest part.

i am very disappointed with the t3\t4 turbo my little brother got from ssautocrap. it lasted 2 weeks. it is a joke. he doesnt even have a phone number.
i emailed him and faxed him multiple times concerning his turbo. i requested a phone number with someone to speak to. response was, that, they are an online company, so their communication is via email. all sales are final. there are no warranties...................lol. what a joke. this guy is rebuilding these turbos knowing they are crap. thats why they are sold so cheap. here is there purchasing policy

yes, there have been success stories with ssautochrome, but, there are plenty of horror stories with ssautochrome. just search honda-tech.com and homemadeturbos.com. i just shared one of many.
if your turbo craps on you the first two weeks, would you prefer to buy from a reputable source, or a questionable source?

Thanks superblue, I like to get a wide variety of opinions, What vehicle did your brother put it on? What happened? Did the turbo sieze? Did you blow the engine? Just curious.
If these guys are bad then what would be a good setup that doesn't break the bank?
Thanks
