You are going to first need to set the motor to top dead center with the rotor facing the #1 spark plug location on the cap. Remove the three bolts holding the distributor in place and remove the distributor. Take the new distributor and place the rotor in the same position as the old distributor (facing the #1 spark plug wire), then install the new distributor. Loosely install the three bolts so that you can still rotate the distributor. You are now going to need to set the timing by using an inductive timing light and lining up the timing marks on the crank pulley by rotating the distributor until the timing is dead on. These are really short instructions, because I don't feel like writing up every step and the suns game is on. This is the basic info, but I would highly suggest buying a Haynes or helms manual if you need more info. Hope this helps.

Everyone’s gotta start somewhere. If you go to the auto parts store you can buy a Haynes manual for like $20 and it will tell you how to do everything you want to do to your car. Get that and go to the section about replacing the distributor and it will tell you what you need to do step by step.

P.S.- F*CK THE REFS, THE SUNS WIN IT ALL NEXT YEAR!!
