My engine has been used and abused and is caked with carbon right now. The previous owner did not religiously change the oil every 3k and the engine shows it. Is there any way that i can clean up my engine to new? i did put a bottle of chevron engine cleaner in there, and it helps a little bit, but is there oil or something i can put directly into the engine that will help?

gunk has a engine flush that does well. pour it in, idle for awhile then drain oil and then refill. you might want to add an additive to the oil(something that will clean and restore seals.

any auto parts store. usually by the oils. another good flush is c-12. they will say motor flush on the label.

Use Seafoam (advance auto and napa carry it) Much better than gunk.
