i know this is hard to do, but how exactly do you decide which CAI you want if you havnt heard what that company sounds like(Injen, AEM, ect.)

nothing about an aftermarket intake pipe makes anymore power. there is no special blessed metal that gives you extra gain over the rest. all the aftermarket CAI remove the silencer on the intake, the Filter is what your hearing suck up the air. im not saying location dosn't make a diffrence. im metal is metal, your airfliter design and location is what your looking for. K&M $35 cone type works great. you could fabricate pvc pipe with a K&M filter and it would work the same as an AEM or HKS. the preffrance is yours.

and just for reffrence the pvc pipeing is called the "homedepot mod" you can search for it on google, plenty of people are well into the 11's with it without problem. a little getto for my taist but works just fine.

Why would you want to do the "home depot" mod? :eek7: I just heard about these more often and I agree...a little too ghetto for my taste too. :2cents:

Let me know if you want a great deal on the CAI, my buddy got me mine for 170 dollars, tax and shipping included in Florida. This wasn't one from ebay either or a home depot mod, it was an Injen. Let me know.

I'd think that most CAI's would sound the same, but exhaust would really be were the notes would differ.
