Any recommendations on oil filters for the 5.0 engine? I think I just got one from the local auto store last time, but I didn't do any research on it.

Wix 51515 or NAPA Gold 1515 (striking resemblance, huh?-they're the same filter, both made by wix...).
Absolutely stay away from Fram or any cheap cheaps...A Wix is only a few bucks at O'reilly's and well worth every bit.

Yeah, except arent they like $10 or $12 a piece. Definitely not worth full price in my opinion.

I went with the Motorcraft. They didn't have the Wix in stock and it was average price $5 or $6. I'm sure it will do fine for my tooling around town and short trips.
