New cams??

I was thinking about installing new cams in my GS-R. I was wondering if a cam designed for a turbo would mess up a N/A engine. I plan to get a turbo installed down the road, but thought I would get new high performance cams now. Would it help to do so? Is there a big difference between turbo cams and N/A cams? Is it hard to install at home? I'm not a professional but can follow instructions very well. Has anyone installed their own cams? Thanks.

well, i dont recommand that you install in yourself, one little mistake and your valves might just slam into your cylinders. there is a big difference between turbo and na cams. But in both cases if you get the right cams, you'll be able to rev higher with out hurting your engine so why not invest in a better cooling system or save your money for steel sleves and new pistons.
