? About Rear Cargo Space

I was wondering, my car came with just the cargo space thing behind the front seats, and then carpet was laid over it with the locking handle up front like this...

Could I just take that carpet out and get something like this..

The hatch cover thingy connects to particular slots that are adjacent to the rear speaker mounts. There is a vertical mounted door type of thing with sideways latch buttons. That folds up to meet the hatch cover. The door thingy is attached to a hinge that squeaks and is just added weight so I broke it off. The hinge is connected to the carpet piece on the floor. Anyway, you don't need the door piece but there would be a hole. As long as you have the fitting slots by the rear speakers you can place the hatchcover piece into place. I'm not sure how much different the HF rear interior is from the Si but it may lack specific plastic sections. I can't really explain it... sorry.
