Cool emoticons!! I agree! Mr "never blown an engine or tranny" has replaced both according to his own website! I guess two cracked pistons doesn't count! He does have a decently racked naked chic on his page though!

Jimmytroanoke, you are da man!!! I saw that too but Jim (KustomKid54) and I are trying hard to ignore him....lol. :lol2:
Best part of the emoticons and smilies is they are consistent with the forum rules and even recommended versus text so that there is no miscommunication, etc. Have a great day!

I have never broke a trans, I upgraded it yes. :screwy:
With my current setup, which I have had for a little over 6 months I have not yet had one problem with the trans/engine.

BTW it was the same piston, it just cracked twice. It was from running too much timing and maxxing out my stock injectors. I replaced the engine with another seriesIII for $800 including labor. It was a great learning experience.

I have never broke a trans, I upgraded it yes. :screwy:
With my current setup, which I have had for a little over 6 months I have not yet had one problem with the trans/engine. This is important because proior to this I was running 104-106 traps and at this power level it is not normally associated with frequent engine/trans problems. Yet a GP trapping 114-115mph and running it at the track every month, it is assumed there are going to be engine/tranny troubles. But Like I have written in my sig I have had none.
Dont be jealous, when somebody accomplishes something try to resist hating them, maybe you will instead feel joy for your fellow GPer. If you knew how to mod and monitor your GP, you could easily do the same.
Son......you are preaching to the choir. :shakehead You lost your credibility when you decided to screw with and flame good people that bend over backwards to help GP owners in this forum.
I don't think that anyone hates you but you need to start acting responsibly and civilly. We don't need anyone telling us how to mod our GPs or maintain them. But there are times when we all need help and if you want to throw in your two cents thats fine. However, most of us do quite well in that area based on our budget. There are other things in life other than bragging about having the fastest '04 GTP around or wasting money on modifications that are not practical for your average GP owner.
I am quite confident that others will weigh in. Have a nice day!

Nobody hates you, guy. Maybe I am a little jealous of the money is no object, since I have to work and support a family with mine.
Replaced the engine for $600??? I need to know where you buy your parts! Or would that make me an accessory to something???
Really though this whole thing started when you made the blanket statement that people here suck at modding. From what I see on this forum the regulars definitely do not. Of all the forums at AF.com, this one seems to have the most active, helpful, and literate people on it. Some of the other forums could use these guys. People who actually learn and understand how things work, instead of opening up the "parts Bazooka" to solve a problem. :twak:

UPDATE:
THE SAME engine and trans are STILL running strong without any troubles after many 114mph-116mph passes...
I guess modding these cars doesnt mean they will break all the time. :uhoh:
