can anyone tell me the fastest times the LS1 is making in the 1320 and with what car, corvette maro trans?
whats the fastest times for each car recorded?
i'm in a debate with these guys about the vette and the skyline and i'm telling them the vette has faster 1320 times but i need some backup numbers, websites would help also.

i dont have an ls1 but my brother does. his best time at the track was a 12.8 in the 1/4. with intake, headers, flowmaster, superchips computer tune, torque arm, lower control arms, panhard bar, and free mods. he also had too powerful of a spring in his automatic transmission bc shifting from 1st to 2nd would throw him ass sideways every time.

Actually fastest record ever for LS1 was 7.58 or something in a 4th gen T/A. If I find the Hotrod mag that had it in i'll say anymore details and actual time but it was in the 7s.

Stock F-Body.......12.8. Stock tires even. Conditions would have had to have been perfect.
Fastest LSx based car is in the 7's.

Nothing is wrong with them.
They took a good thing and added bore. That is all the LS2 is, an LS1 with .3 liters in bore.

Got the wrong idea. I was aiming at why they got rid of the maros and birds. What wrong with them for doing that. A dum choice but they did what they had to do. Back to topic, 1500 hp for a streetable car is awesome. Again, LS1=GOD!

It's their lack of marketing! While they produce some of the most potent motors in history, they're style of business is severly flawed. Look at the Mustang, they continue to be steps behind GM in the engine department, yet their Mustangs outsell the F-bodies 10 fold. While GM has the technological and innovative savvy, Ford has he business and marketing. Thus the addage...the pen is mightier than the sword!

He has an aluminum version of what I have. Basicly.

Don't confuse a barely street driven car with something that is streetable. Duke's car has a gigantic solid roller packing over .700" of lift, no passenger seat, a 25.5 cage, wheelie bars, and a T400 with an outrageous stall. Street driven? Maybe. Street car? Not a chance.

in GM High-Tech Performance July/August 2005 issue there's a 2002 Blown Trans Am has hit 7.94 at 176 and 1.24 60ft time by the Michigan speed shop Hardcore Motorsports. I'm not sure if they have it on their website or not you'll have to go look out. But they say this is the fastest LS1 yet.
