Less problems?

what kind of problems do u have with a turbo that u dont have with a supercharger?

al the guys that are putting out the BIG numbers with probes and MX6's are turboed!

installation of a super charger is a lot more easy than a turbo also theres a lot less things to go wrong on the super charger

installation of a super charger is a lot more easy than a turbo also theres a lot less things to go wrong on the super charger
so how does the supercharger work on your car?
exactly

and how many superchargers have you installed?
how many turbos?

there are far more turboed cars on the street over supercharged cars...but supercharged is better! get a clue

well lets see a supercharger is basicly a turbo without the exaughst side and a pully put on it every thing runs off a belt so the only hard part to the installation is the tapping off the oil pan no messin with the pipes or any thing like that not to mention theres no lag from a supercharger its constant power the only down side to the supercharger is your limeted to the amount of boost you can create by the size of pulley you have installed

but ur probably goign to wanan run an intercooler with more boost than you need pipes

What Big Numbers All I See Is Around 278 To The Wheels With Turbo 2.5 V6. That Sad I Seen Hondas Put Out 250 On A St0ck B Series Motor And 300-800 On A Modified One.

Turbo cars are alot more adjustable in terms of power. Supercharged you hit that limit then thats it. Plus with turbo you can still have good mileage.

go on like probe talk theres tons of guys hitting around 300 on turboed cars with stock motors and then theres guys in the 400 and 500 range

YEAH BUT STILL YOU HAVE A V6 vs. 4 BANGER. MY FRIEND HAS 345 WHP ON HIS DEL SOL AND ONE OF OUR FRIEND IN CONCORD HAS A 810 WHP AND HE WAS 2ND AT NOPI. RAN 8.23 IN 1/4. AND THESE AIN'T NO BS SO LITTLE KID POSTING THESE ARE CARS THAT I WORKED ON AND SEEN IN PERSON.

Bill57 I'm Not Trying To Bash You Or The Car But I Had Friends With The Probe With The Jdm 200hp Motors And They All Have Abandon They Projects For A Honda Or Dsm. And I Have To Agree With Them It Cost To Much Money To Make The Same Hp As Other Cars Like The Hondas And Dsms

Oh Okay Then Maybe We Should All Get On The Bandwagon And Do Like All The Other People. Originallity Is Nothing, Simplicity Is Everything. Honda

Man you have some serious typing issues.

The only reason why it is cheaper to do it on a Honda is because 99% of people buy a Civic and decide to dump retarded amounts of money into them. Companies see this and make kits that could be assembled and tuned by monkeys to push 300whp...

Personally I took pride in modifying my car to run 14s myself, not because it was easy.

...and let us all be clear, I am not saying 14s are fast... But I decided to stop because I had more important things to waste my money on.

if you do the research these v6's yur talkin about are capable of 400hp on stock internals if u use your brain a little more you can find piston and rod packages that will support 650hp or more just because the probe/mx6/mx3 are not the focus of every little boys attention causing the big name performance companys to produce complete engine kits that put out decent amounts of power doesent mean any thing besides we have choosen to use our brain to build the car and not take the easy way out and choose a car that almost every one has :nutkick:

Thanks, I Was Just Giving You A Hard Time, So What Are Your Next Plan For Your Car. What Do You Have Or Have Done To Your Car. Oh What Do You Have A Mx6 Or Mx3 Or Probe. And Does It Have The Stock 1.8 Or 2.5.

I had an mx3 with a 2.5L ZE in it. I had so many problems with the thing and I was retard by always deciding to dump more and more money into it trying to fix it. Yes this was my first car, and I saw it as a project... but hell you gotta know when to cut your losses and call it a day. I finally realized that I was becoming sick of the thing and decided to part it out to make up for SOME lost money.

Was a great learning experience, and I dont regret it... but I couldve done a lot better for the amount of money I spent.. i know that for sure :(

EDIT: Oh and I am sorry too I guess I got a bit asshole-ish with you. i guess it was my beeriod (get it? period? hahaha ok nevermind). :cwm27:
