I can't help you but what did they run you? Did you look at Dynomax's?... they had a similar set in Jeg's a lot cheaper though... not sure if there's a good reason or if edelbrock is expensive.

Didn't get em yet. They're about $450. One more paycheck to go. They are ceramic coated. Just wanted to know what else do i need for them. Everything that pretty much goes on the exhaust manifold, right?

I'd assume you need everything between the block and the exhaust above the collecter connections. I knw the dynomax headers are supposed to come with everything you need to install them. They're supposed to be good to 1300 degrees, hooker's ceramic coated headers said they were good to 1600, not sure about edelbrock's (they didn't make them for my application when I looked at them). Hooker's were also $480 as compared to $280 for Dynomax's. I read an article once that Dynomax's were good price wise and excellent performance wise, but no explanation as to the huge price difference. I don't know if that 300 degree temperature difference is a big deal or not, but I would hope that the damn thing wasn't pushing no 1300 degrees or I'd rather have the lake pipes. Better off to have all that heat outside, I would imagine.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I need that photoshop PLEASE!!!

Thanks Earl. You gotta old school big block so you'll probably be doing straight duals out the back right? I think the edelbrocks i'm looking at are for the rinky dink small blocks, i don't know if the make the tes for the big boys.

Exhaust dumps behind the rear wheels, kinda hidden. I liked the look of no exhaust pipes (when the exhaust dumped just after the mufflers, had turn-downs) and made them "hide" the exhaust exit pipes when I had it legalized.

450 sounds like way to much for shorties man, but im el cheapo myself and bought pace setters with no coating on them. ceramic will look alot better. everyone says it will rust if its not coated but none yet *knock on wood*.

make sure you have some really good ass gaskets, copper is the best from what i understand but at least get some good joints with the metal shits in them-so to speak. my first time around i put the headers on myself and the leaked like crazy because of these PIECE OF F******* SH** gaskets that came with the headers F*** Y*** pace setter for that one, ahem pardon me.

but yeah definately get good gaskets so you only have to install your headers once.

if they are like the TES headers i got, youll get more hardware than youll need. So you should be perfectly fine. I didnt need to buy anything to install mine. everything was included.

check eBay.... a few days ago there were a few sets of the Edelbrocks listed. You might be able to pick a used set (with the Y-pipe included) for $200.... even if the hardware isn't included, you can pick that stuff up at Autozone for under $30.

Also, JEGs.com has Heddmans 1-5/8s with the Y-pipe shipped to your door for around $280. But you will have to get an 02 sensor bung welded in the drivers side header..... a local muffler shop will weld for you cheap.

But anyway, the Edelbrocks are a nice choice..... you've seen what they have done on my IROC.
