street port?

im gettin my engine as soon as my check comes in the mail. should i get the streetport for 400 extra? it says it adds about 30 hp. anyone got a streetport and is it worth it? im gonna need a computer and clutch already. not sure if i should save the money for somethin else.

dude if your engine is out of your car and is apart, you'd be crazy not to streetport it.

mine is getting rebuilt and street ported right now, I'll let you know what I think when I get it back next week

I have an agressive streetport on my motor and love it. Loads more power and it even sounds nicer :P But dealing with aircare is a beatch, need to hook the air pump back up and remove the check valve so its geting loads of fresh air into the exhaust. That way it passes :P

hm... i'm probably going to do a rebuild soon, and i'm probalby doing aggressive street port as well. good thing smog isn't an issue in texas!

its ok tho, easiest way to get it to pass is to pull the o2 sensor and run the air pump directly to the exhaust, cleans it right up :P
