i wonder where we got this predisposition for aliens, like they're geniuses here to experiment on us and steal us away. we all "know" what they look like and of course they can only arrive by flying saucers...does anyone believe that the government has secretly been harboring real aliens from us and doing experiments on them? i know there was this claim about some lab where they had aliens in jars and stuff, i think out west somewhere. what do u all think? are they real or fake?

Logically, Aliens are real.
If we are to assume that we revolve around one star in the milky way, and there are billions of billions upon stars in said milky way, and also assuming a good number of these also have solar systems. Also, there are numerous other galaxies and as such a good number of the stars contained in these other galaxies would have solar systems too...
And if you take into consideration the theory that the universe is infinite, therefore containing infinite galaxies/stars/solar systems, then mathematically there are infinitely more chances for life... then there are infinitely more planets with life on them out there, some more advanced than our own.
Even taking into consideration the number of solar systems surrounding ours, math dictates that theres a very good chance for other life.
So I wouldnt put it past the government to hide alien life from us.

^^ You just argued a great point, then summarized it with a whole different idea. What a disappointing punch line. But, thats how I see it too. Too many damn solar systems for us to be the only life in the universe. Its ignorant to believe it.
Oh and about the UFO summoner, I will never believe UFO stories until I see it with my own eyes. Same with ghosts, and Santa.
I've already seen big foot.

The next world leader in astronomy....lol
Good point. I always had some belief in Extraterrestrial Aliens....because considering that the universe is infinite, like Mediocrity said, there are probably infinite numbers of galaxies, stars, solar systems etc. And if the Big Bang Theory brought our planets and us to existent, there's probably chance that it happened in all the other thousands of solar systems.

Go outside. Look at the sky. See any stars or planets? No; that's because it is daytime. It is extremely rare to see stars or planets during the day. Not to mention they don't move across the sky that quickly. :banghead:
