Sup guys, well a quick update on my CRX Project. Its been sanded down, some what the body's been fixed. What i mean by that is there are some little dings here and there.(didnt want to bother putting bondo since it will crack later on down the road.) Also its been primered.(looks a hell of alot better!) This is the first car i messed with and done the work myself. So when I post pics dont expect a super clean job....lol
Anyway towards my Q, I seem to have alot of gunk, mud/dirt or whatever it may be in the front wheel well, and suspention areas (both sides) so i took the wheels off, my calipers aren't in that great of a shape either, all dirty with minor rust. So what I plan on doing is sanding down little rust spots, buying new rotors and brake pads. But to clean the suspention parts from all this dirt and resedue. What kind of solution or product would you guys recoomend on using I was going to try to wash them with soap and water...lol but im sure theres something better and stronger.

i think brake cleaner/degreaser would work fine just dont kill the grease in your bearings and joints.

theres something called Simple Green; a type of degreaser i think that works very well.
