From a Clown Car to a Towncar (newbie)

Last week my trusty '92 Ford Festiva (clown car) blew a head gasket, not wanting to repair the 173k mile econobox that I paid $100 for, I made a deal with my grandfather to buy his recently acquired '88 Lincoln Towncar. The car only has 47k miles and is like new. I paid $3100 US for it. Being the punk college kid that I am I'd like to put a different exhaust system in it. Will performance Mustang 302 headers fit/bolt up to my 302? Also, does anyone make drop spindles for the front end of the 80's Towncars, mine could stand to be lowered an inch or so.
