Hey guys,

So here's the situation. I met this girl probably an HB 8.5 or HB9 on a good day, who goes to my school a few weeks ago, we hit it off fairly well. Last Friday I asked her if she wanted to come over and have a few drinks, watch Team America. She initially said yes, then she cancelled on me at the last minute. She claimed she had to go to her friends birthday party but "wanted to see me". I eventually convinced her to leave early and come over.

Fast forward, I meet her, she looks stunning, gives me a big hug and we walk back to my house arm in arm. A few drinks later and we're making out on my couch.

I ended up taking her home and giving her a long kiss good night after promising to keep it quiet.

I talked to her thru IM on sunday and everything seemed ok.

Today, I saw her at school, she gave me an akward smile, and whenever I went up to talk to her after school, she kinda walked away.

I texted her and asked her to meet me for lunch tommorow, no dice. I asked her if she felt akward and she said no but "thought that hooking up wasnt such a good idea". I replied that "I wanted this to be more than a 1 time thing and thought she was a cool girl".

#1. Where did I go wrong. Im very analytical and like to go over my mistakes. What did I do wrong

#2. What should I do? I get along really well with her anyways, I am usually willing to "next" girls, but I am slightly reluctant to this time. What course of action is best? Salvage this, or move on?

I'm gonna go with the fact that your immediate plan was to get her drunk and make out was where you went wrong. I'm not saying that was your plan, I'm saying that's probably how she looked at it. I mean you invited her over for some drinks and a movie to your home after just meeting her? No girl is going to think of that as a "date" and as most girls are romantics (in my mind) she was turned off by this after the alcohol wore out of her system.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's what happened there.

Honestly, here's my whole opinion on "casual dating"....

It's retarded.

If you can't see yourself with this person later on in life, why go through all the drama? There's no point in "dating" over sexual purposes alone or other such things, you have to want everything to do with them and vice-versa or it just won't work. If it's not going to work, why waste your time?

In other words, if you think that this could go to some lengths and you could be with this girl for quite some time, work for it. If not, let it go and save yourself the drama.

Not only did you push it too fast / come on too strong (she could figuire it out that you wanted her), but then you kept pushing it like a lost puppy. You should've given her some space after a date. When she seemed disinterested, you did the worse possible thing, which was pushing it even more. Instead, you should've leaned back, relaxed, and given her "the gift of missing you". You can't make yourself so damn readily available to her - you came across as a needy wuss that was clingy to her - she realized that she had the total power in the relationship. She realizes that she is the hot one, and that you want her, and she has total control over if you get it or not. You cannot let it work this way. You need to be the hot item - and make yourself scarce so she wants you more. You mainly were too clingy. When you did shit like telling her that she "was a cool girl" that severly hurt you. In that sentence, you demonstrated to her that you are insecure, and are afraid you'll lose her, so you are ass-kissing. She knows she's a cool girl - otherwise you wouldn'tve made out with her. By saying that to her, you just furtherly handed over the power in the relationship and furtherly submitted yourself to her will. She knows you are no longer a challenge - no longer interesting - and ultimately no longer attractive. Move on, you will not be able to recover with her. There's billions more. Forget about her now and move on right this instant. Do not spend one more second working to get her back - she's not worth your time.

lol, more girl problems, I love message boards.

Well sometimes, it's not that you're wrong. Here's a good example of that; My current gf and I had bene together maybe a month or so, then a week after christmas, I got dumped. No reason, just dumped.

Fast forward to now, a week ago, she mentioned at the time her on off ex was still in the picture, he's gone now and we're together. This leads to my next point of advice, be persitent, but not a stalker.

I once had an amazing time with one identical twin, that being a good night out. Tried to follow up on it a number of times, and no dice. Eventually she just flipped out on me, I took the hint, haven't bothered her since. I'm trying to help you here, so if you're getting bad vibes more than once, back off. This twin was insanely hot, it was hard to just leave it, but I moved on, now it's just a lesson learned.

Lastly, my best girlfriend the other night gave me this message 'OMG I just made out with this guy for like an hour' I asked 'Why the worry?'

turns out she didn't even like this guy, he just came over for a movie and drinks, they just started making out. She has no interest in him, it was just an impulse thing, women are crazy like this. Sometimes they just do things on impulse, she'll prolly never talk to this guy again, but at the time it seemed right.

Like any road, read the signs or else you're bound for trouble.

This happened to me twice. Thought things went well. However it turned out they were a little tipsy and when they sobered up they realized "eh, screw that guy". A few phone calls then nothing. One girl even went to Spain for a semester  :( Fuck me.

Don't worry bro, all is not lost. You just gotta play it cool. If she liked you enough to feel bad and left her friends to come over to your place, well that says something. Just lay low for a bit and wait to see what happens. But for the love of god, don't talk about how much you like her anymore. That will scare her off in 2 seconds flat.

I am gonna have to go with Drew on this... I've never, ever, EVER just made out with a girl (though I am really young) or anything of that nature when first meeting them or first spending a lot of time with them. I'll tell you now, women do want gentlemen, it's always been that way. The only problem is now they want the rights of men, but still want their special privileges (sp)... get over it guys. That's the way they are. Open the door for them etc etc. If you want a good girl, one to take home to mother, you gotta be a gent.

Ok heres what you need to do. First find out where she lives and start sending her love letters. 1 per day is a good starting point. Also stop by to see her atleast 3 times a week. And call her twice a day to make sure she is happy and everything is okay. When she goes to bed, rumage around through her trash so you can find out as much about her as you can. Make sure if you see her talking to another guy, you run up and punch him in the face and yell "SHES MINE BITCH!".

if that doesnt get her back, nothing will!

Its not like I JUST met her, but yes, chivalry is one of my stronger points. I attribute that to my old world British-values type upbringing. All I need are the Saville Row suits and I can be Lord Dorikin of Cheswickentshire-upon Avondale

Erk..I buggered up. Send her a text msg with something to that effect...hmm..I screwed up there...

At least I got something out of it and was able to somewhat salvage whatever we had going.

After that first night of u and her hanging out you should have not talked to her for a couple of days to let her miss you. girls always want what they cant have, and you made yourself way to readily available. if you know any of her friends ask them on a date. not a come over to my house for drinks date but a actual date. once she gets word of you taking her friend on a date she will want u. and if she doesnt want u after that fuck her u have her friend now

I think drew made great points, but I dont think you really dug that deep of a hole just from your first post. BUT, when she said, "I dont think hooking up was such a great idea", that meant, "you have no chance, so take the easy way out or the hard way". If she wants to hook up again it wont take any persuasion. keep roaming

Alright, coming straight from a girl in high school who isn't ugly, she probably likes you (or else she wouldn't have made out with you) and she might be a little embarrased of you. You said she was a "cool girl"? Her friends might be bugging her out because of you.

I had the same problem with my first serious boyfriend. Everyone I knew made fun of him, but I went through with it. And now he's an asshole, who talks about me on here. So if I were you, I'd totally avoid all situations where a bitch might be embarrased of you. You might turn into an asshole.

But she's not worth it if that's how she's gonna act.

Alright, coming straight from a guy who dated a high school girl, anything that a high school girl says about a guy, is 99 percent false. Because she has to at least say guy one percent of the time.

Ok,

Update. I see her at school she always waves/says high/talks to me. She always IMs me, sometimes immediately after I come online. I take my sweet time replying, cuz, well, I like to leave her hanging.

At lunch today I was hanging out, and I could repeatedly see her staring in my direction, sometimes right at me(the beauty of me wearing sunglasses means she doesnt know this).

I have been busy with finals, and honestly dont have time to wade thru the mixed signals and crap. Do you think she is still into me, or is she playing mind games?

Apparently she has "been around" and there are rumors about her going round. She also asked me to keep quiet about this, which I have. Does that help?
