Resonator Removal

:banghead: I have searched high and wide for a pipe that will allow me to remove the resonator from my GTP. I am in the process of putting on a set of TOG headers and I will be using a Randon Technology cat made for the headers. I want more sound and would like to remove the resonator and put in a straight pipe back. I plan to cut the resonator off and connect the pipe just behind where resonator is located.(I can't afford a full cat back system at the present time, spent my extra money on the headers and cat.) I am looking for a pipe that will bolt directly to the cat and pipe without having to weld it. Do any of you know where I can purchase such a pipe? I have looked everywhere and can't find one. Thanks in advance!

PS. It needs to be about three feet long.

Thats a tough one GTP Dad. I don't think you'll have much luck on this one. So I'm assuming you want to use exhaust clamps in lieu of welding to secure the straight pipe. Sounds more like a job for a muffler/exhaust shop with proper tools like expanders/swedgers, etc. I use the mom & pop shops. If you showed them what you want, they'd probably have something for you in a reasonable amount of time right to your specifications.
How do you plan on handling the rear 02 sensor in that configuration? Simulator?

The cat I want to use has a built in bung for the sensor right after the cat. Just didn't want to use the resonator. I will probably take your suggestion and have a pipe made for the application. Thanks!

The RT stuff is pricey but good. At least you don't have to worry about a u-bend delete because its all in the package. I'll keep that in mind for my Regal GS in the near future. Good luck!
