Hey, I got a real big Problem on my 1992 Crown Vic with 185,000 miles. I was in a local gas station(car was idling) and it died all of a sudden. Come to find out the car has no spark. I first thought it was the fuel pump shutoff switch but it isn't that Gas is getting to the engine but not getting ignited. What exactly would cause this? The car almost starts it cranks but just doesn't start!
I checked out:
Fuses
Ignition Module
Relays
Battery
Crankshaft Position sensor
Spark Plugs
I took out the 2 Coils on my car. I was wondering if one is bad would that cause both not to work?
Please advise thanks!

I guess the ignition switch still works... ?
So Maybe igniter or coils. seems like it would be better to have someone crank and check the voltage leaving coils with a meter than to have them out...
I don't think one bad will make them both not work, but one bad would certainly make it difficult for the car to start...

my guess would be the coil packs expessally if there stock then i would replace them

if you are getting a check engine light the pcm relay is working, try disconnecting the crankshaft sensor and reconnecting it.

I checked out the Coils and they are fine. Also new ignition module. Could the ECU/brain be No good. Where could I find one?

I'm curious... what have you done to verify fuel delivery and lack of spark?
Is it possible you have a slipped timing issue?

I tapped a sort of valve on the engine compartment rails. Gas came squirking out. I check out the spark by the usually way to see if it jumps. I will check the timing belt stuff but how does that effect the spark.

Have a pressure gauge installed to check fuel pressure. # or 4 pounds will cause gas to squirt out, takes about 32 to 42 for car to run.

Yeah, thats not the problem. It is the fact that the gas/mixture is not getting ignited. Why would this happen. Gas is getting up there.

A weak battery or corroded cables providing enough current to turn the starter but not enough for the coils to convert.
Igniter is bad
Signal/wire from computer that fires the igniter is bad/missing/corroded
injectors could be corroded or stoped up
I tapped a sort of valve on the engine compartment rails
try tapping an actual valve rather than a "sort of" valve. If you want those of us trying to help you believe that something is not the problem take us through the specifics of HOW you know what you know to convince us you know what you are doing.
I hardly know what I am doing, but am becoming convinced you have no idea.

I have seen a couple of good suggestions to your problems. You have not responded to them. Have you checked the crank sensor?? If crank sensor is bad or unplugged----no spark. If you want help, please help us by answering the questions that are asked of you. Please tell me how you know there is enough fuel getting into the cylinders to make engine start. I have been a mechanic for over 30 years and I can not push on schrader valve and know how much fuel pressure there is in the system. If it does not have correct fuel pressure, will not start or run properly. You say you have checked everything we have suggested. I am out of ideas until you come up with some solid diagnostics instead of saying I checked it and it is good. Thank you and Good luck.

Battery is fine...I checked the voltage and it is 12 Volts. Crankshaft position is fine..I put a new one in it. I tapped that valve and gas came out. I will check the pressure. Timing Belt is checked out and fine.
Injectors or ECU I think...maybe
Could the ECU go just like that? The Car is a AODE so I gotta get an exact code right?
Im sorry that Im not answering all these questions but after going through a lot of items and areas of the Vic..I am a little aggrevated. It could see Doom(boneyard soon).

Also Fuel Pressure is not the problem I believe the car doesn't have spark. Would the wrong fuel pressure cause the car not to have spark..I doubt it.

OK. Just for giggles, look up under the front bumper under the battery area. There is a wiring loom there. Look for a broken wire. More than likely it is brown in color. It is not easily gotten to, but, that may have to be a price to pay to fix it.

Yeah check everything out in that area. The only thing I think it can be is the ECU or brain. How easily could I get one. Does it have to be from a 92 Vic?
