Go to Maaco, got good deals and good paint, under $900, got mine for $800. As long as you keep it waxed it'll last, had it for two years and it still looks brand new.

Orange is better. I dont think Yellow looks good on third gens.

and does maaco just paint over the existing paint or do they sand it down and prep it good?

They mostly just paint, so you would have to do the prep work, and cover everything that you dont want paint on.

They mostly just paint, so you would have to do the prep work, and cover everything that you dont want paint on.

What are you talking about...they do the whole job, prep and everything.
I had mine sanded and painted. Don't prep yourself unless you know what your doing. Let the pros do it.

i love yellow on camaors, especially with black racing stripes and a black interior. looks good to me.

I must say i'm partial to yellow myself...

I like yellow on 3rd gens if it's the right yellow and with black accents (stripes or maybe a two tone).

MAACO did the paint job that's on my car and it's fair at best...Next paint job on my car i will do myself.

I like your yellow, just not the shade of yellow they put on the irocs

I like Yellow on 1st,2nd gens but not 3rd and I havent seen a yellow 4th gen so cant say if I like it or not.

hell i think that yellow iroc was bad azz but im not a 3rd gen guy so what do i know.

I had forgotten i'd seen this one...I know personally i cant say i've seen a nicer looking 3rd gen than this one. Dial up users might want to stray away or be prepared for a LONG wait.

holy shit, i could lick that engine its so clean. i was expecting a supercharger or something tho, he had all the undercarriage hooked up as well.

i was like 2 inches away from buying torque thrust D 20"s for my car when i was wheel shopping, they are a classic design that looks good on just about every car, thats why they are so popular.

as far as the TTII's, im afraid im gonna be a sheep on this one, those are what i am planning on runnin on the IROC, but my spokes are going to be powder coated black with the chrome rim and lugnuts.

Don't get me wrong, I love those wheels on the thirdgens, very deep dish wheels....but I've seen too many. I might get them but probably not

Damn, that shit was sick. What about the original rims, i think they look best, just my opinion. Although if had money know i wouold buy some zr1, i'm in love with those rims. Slp makes some custom that fit on 3rd gen with out spacers.

Similar, but not the real deal, i know how ya feel :grinno: . Still i think the spacers would hurt performance on the car, that would be the only reason i get the replicas.

But ive seen them done up on fourth gen camaros, i forget what they were, but they were basicly berger camaros made for someone else, and they did rims like that, they looked really good. besides, all that matters is weather or not it looks good. Id bolt a set of stang rims up to my camaro if they looked better than the camaro rims.

I agree with the spacers. You have to be careful what wheels you put on these thirdgens, most will look like crap. Thats why im waiting till i get the money and find the right kind
