chrome trim adhesive removal

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so dont bash me too much, lol. So I have a sedan, and the chrome window trim around the windows (not the horizontal ones underneath the windows, those are fine) were peeling and looked ugly. So one day (today) i decided to rip it off, and here's my problem: the trim left this gray foamy double-sided adhesive on the door frame, and I can't get it off cleanly. I heard using a hair-dryer would work? Are there any chemicals that I can use?

Using a hair dryer can work if it gets hot enough, I use a heat gun. You can remove the residue with some cleaner called OOPS, can find it at most stores that carry stuff like that. Lighter fluid (like used in zippos) works well also at removeing the residue left after you get the foam off.
