I have a '64 Nova with a stock 10 bolt, mono leaf rear end. Does anyone out there know what the widest 15 inch tire that would fit in my fender well would be? Also what the offset in the rim would have to be?

8inches with a 3to4inch offset is safe you can go bigger but you might need to roll the lip on the fender well a bit good luck

We have a '63 with Chrysler 8 3/4. For your car using typical 7" Rally rims 225-60 or 235-60 should fit comfortably. Try a junkyard tire of the brnad you plan to use first for clearance, most tire dealers won't take back a new tire that's been mounted even if you haven't driven on it.

Mags can vary so much in offset you need to try the ones you want before you buy.

By the way, my son wanted 15" American Racing Torq-Thrusts all around. Rear was no problem but the only way I could make 'em fit in front was to get !5 x 4 rims. He fitted 185-70 x 15's which are a bit wide for the rims, I would have used 155 or 165-80's. The 70's do stop better, I'm sure!
