b16a swap into 89 hatch

getting ready to do a b16 swap and wanted to know how long it usually takes to have it running and driving

That really depends on which B16a you have and whether you have everything for it when you start. You may find that you have to modify one of your motor mounts once you try to bolt it in (that happened to me) and you may have to convert either the engine or the car to a different OBD designation (that also happened to me). I had everything I needed to start with, and since this was my first B series swap, it took me about five days including modifying my rear mount and the wiring harness.

a day is all you need, assuming you have all the parts that are needed, nothing goes wrong, and arent slacking.

i did notice that in the rear the frame rail is kinked just a little, is this gonna affect the swap, like maybe the axles

already have everything so pretty much have to make it work cause i never noticed that is was hit before, and it's not bad, just a small kink
