OK. i finally got a compressor, and my older brother is bringing me his old airbrushes. i beleive they are both dual action one is pasche and the other is badger.
what kind of thinner do i need? I would like to do some nail polish jobs, as well as enamel. can i use the same thinner for both? what types do you guys prefer and where can i get them. any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I follow my rules for painting real cars with model painting. Each brand and each type has a certain reducer for it. Testors enamels require testors enamel reducer/thinner. Nailpolish requires a certain reducer/thinner. So on and so forth. Some people do mix other brands but I never crossbreed. Just a good rule to follow because of durability, depth, application, etc.
