We have a 1991 T-bird 3.8 liter 6 cylinder. We don't drive it often. Went out one morning and it wouldn't start. It turns over and over, but won't start. We have replaced the coil, the ignition control module, battery, EEC relay. We checked the Inertia swich in the trunk. We tried to jump it by shorting acoss the post on the solenoid. We have tried to reset the computer by pulling the EEC and trying to crank it and reinstalling the EEC, but still nothing. We have checked for spark by pulling the Primary wire at the distributor and also removed the boot. No spark. Anyone have a suggestion on what to do next? Thanks

I had similar problem with my 95 bird. I replaced the stator in the distributor and it was as good as new.

Have you tried resetting the emergency fuel pump switch in the trunk? I had the same problem in my 91 t-bird, and it took me awhile to find the problem. Located in my trunk on the left hand side near the gas filler is a black box with a red button switch that you push that allows the fuel to run. It might be the same for yours, but that's what worked for me.

That little red button is the fuel cutoff switch. He has no spark. Maybe a squirrel chewed through your wiring harness.

I would grab a wiring diagram and starting checking for voltages before and after each component in the ignition circuit. While suggesting a squirrel ate your wiring (or the mice, even rabbits) may sound like we were joking, we were not. It has happened. It's even possible you have no power coming from the ignition switch itself.
