Hi everyone, i'm new to this forum. I have couple questions to ask about purchasing the civic.
I used to own an 1995 honda civic ex coupe and it's very good car. I'm currently owning 1992 honda prelude, but planning to get a new newer ride for my work.
Which year of Honda Civic Coupe EX is the best to get?. I don't want to spend the extra money on the newer year, if it offer the same ride, engine quality, and feature ect..
It's all 7th gens come with in-line4 and V-tec ? Can you tell me the different between Inline vs. reguler cylinder. Thank you very much.

The EX across the board came with the same amount of horse power, as well as D engines. The 7th gen civs utalize coil packs rather then distibutors and the ULEV tecnology for a better emissions. They all have 4 bangers.. As for Vtec this can be found on the EX-HX models. Mind you the Vtec is not so much for power but rather fuel consumption on the D series. I guess it would be a matter of preferance towards body style and price. I would rather own a 99 SI then my car to be honest. I do however think my model civic is the best looking coupe they have made.
