00 Silverado SWB/ engine swap

just curious, not to sure, but could you swap a LS1 into a 00 Silverado SWB.....how difficult would it be? what would need to be done (summarize) and im pretty sure u would have to swap the tranny to match the engine, correct me if im wrong :uhoh:

I don't think the gain in pwer would be worth the swap unless the truck originally had a 4.3L. A 4.8L might be debatable.
