Resin release substiture?

Hey,

Are there any household products I can use as a resin mold release agent? I was thinking of using "Pam", the cooking nonstick shit. But I don't know if it would mess up the resin. Also, I was thinking talcum or flour? I don't know. I would get the real mold release, but I don't know how it will react to the resin I will be using. It is reddish...I'll get the actual ingredients on Tues.

We use a product called Rocket Release, smells similar to our cooking spray pure n' simple, but it sprays blotchy and I wouldn't trust it. Every little thing will show up when you cast, including an uneven coating of mould release.(some parts shiny, some parts dull)
The mould release we use is only to release your original parts, after that you can regularly dust moulds with talcum powder(we use Johnsons baby talc) and then blow the excess out.Very important to blow out the excess, I ruined a racing seat once in a rush , the top of it fell apart cos' it was all talcum powder. AND NEVER RUSH!!!
