Hi folks. My first post on the RL forum. My wife just bought a 97 Acura RL. To me, the suspension feely really bouncy especially in the rear. You can feel every bump in the car and it doesn't handle the greatest. The car has 94,000 miles on it. I suspect the struts? Any thuoghts? What are the most cost effective options?

If it is bouncing around like you say, then i say its the shocks. The aren't able to dampen the up and down momentum from the springs. Look at them and see if they are leaking any fluid. If so, they are definatley blown and need replacing. But just some info. The older RL's like yours are very sloppy feeling even when they were brand new. Its just a characteristic of the car. I call it the grandma feel.
