Saw a Lotus today

I went to the gas station today and on my way there I saw this black car that I had no clue what it was. Him and his buddy (guy in a Volvo) were definently from out of state. When I first got close to it I thought is was a lambo (my poor ignorance). But when I pulled up next to it at a light I saw Esprit on the back side window and nearly sh*t myself. It's pretty crazy because I live in a small suburb of Syracuse and this is the 2nd one I've seen in the area (apparently there is another one I've never seen also). But with all the respect I have for the car, I lost all respect for the driver. We were the first in line at the light so what happens? The guy has the balls to start reving on me like crazy. I mean how pathetic is it that some guy in a nice, and rare, car like that revs on a stock Civic with only a set of Slipstreams? So I didn't even acknowledge him, and when the light turned green I just drove; and the jackass starts honking his horn at me still trying to get me to race. And domestic car owners whine that they get rev'd on by Civics all the time. It was still a sweet ass car though. Just thought I'd share.

lol yeah, but I'd rather put $ into my car and be able to say I beat one :D And if I raced him I would have been beat already in 1st gear with my 70hp (at the crank) CX. My friend is going to be pissed that it wasn't him at the light, he would have raced him and it would have been a pretty good race.

theyre 3 wheeled gokart looking things that rappers and rich people drive. Very expensive but look really fun to drive.

Oh yeah, I saw Ja Fool with one on mtv. I would never drive one of those things out in public with all the trucks and SUVs around.

Probably the "rarest" thing I see around here on a regular basis is an Integra Type R down the road from me; every mid-summer. Next to that would be the Evos I see, but they're not really all that rare (I know a guy with one and 4 of his friends have them too). In my area, all the expensive cars are owned by the factory workers or the people in the rich part of the area (but they rarely take their cars out, and still it's nothing special). We do however get literally thousands of custom hot rods around every year for a big show at the NY fairgrounds...woo...hoo :disappoin.

Must be nice. But it's too expensive for my taste. Forget about the price tag, but with all the maintenance costs; they're way too expensive. Everyone I know with one has had to replace the clutch at least once (within 3 months of getting the car), and forget about the amount of tires that you go through. But I guess it's not really your average car on the street.

going thru the clutch and tires in such a short period is the fault for the drivers
