Does anybody have any advice on tinting the back window of a 1998 crv? I went to a local shop to get my windows tinted and only got the side windows done because the guy said that he could do the back one but it wouldnt look very good, something to do with the dot matrix surrounding the window and the copper pieces in the window. It looks fine as it is because you really cant tell that its not tinted but i'd still like to have it done.

Just had my CR-V tinted all the way around, even a strip across the top of the windshield. The back window was no problem and covered the defroster wires OK. Looks great.... Bud

Take it to another tint shop, sounds like that place isn't good if they can't do a rear window. What ever you do don't try it yourself and expect it to look good on your first attemp.

That is true find someone else. The problem is that the rear window is kind of concaved and need to use a heat gun in order to stretch the tint. That guy about the dot matrix is full of curd......take it to someone that really knows what they are doing......
