I just installed a sct chip I got today from modular performance and I started my car up and now it pours gas out my exhaust like a running faucet, I have a vortech v2, 42lb injectors, 90mm mass air sensor, off road x pipe, I drove the car after each and every mod to make sure that the mod wasn't giving me any problems in the driveability, not one single problem til now, I tried turning the switch to 4 which is supose to be a factory tune yeah right it doesn't make any difference at all, I know if I call mod depot monday morning they will tell me that I have done something wrong on the install and have screwed the chip up and they can't warranty it, so I just want to know if anyone else has had this problem, if so is there an easy fix? Thanks for you help.

I'm assuming and correct me if Im wrong that this was a mail order chip. If it was, thats the problem. I recently had an SCT chip added to my car. The first time the tech put the chip in it ran horrible because the tech didn't take into account all the modifications the car had. He immediately reprogrammed and reinstalled it and the car ran fantastic. He ended up programming the chip a total of three times before he got it just right. So my advice is to find someone locally that knows what there doing and let them do your programming with the car present. The SCT chip is a great mod so long as it being programmed by the right person.
As far as the #4 setting being stock, thats only the case if the tech programmed it to be stock. I have the same chip and I don't have a stock setting. Ive got two NA tunes and two nitrous tunes.
Good luck
