I thought I remember reading somewhere that the rust problem that occurs on early 90's accord had been fixed after a certain model year? Is that right? I searched and couldn't find anything. Is there a 90-something accord that will be safe from the rust bug, or are all 90-99 accord prone to that rear wheel well rust?

Yep they do. But rust is more a function of where you drive the car. If you live where they salt the roads during the winter, you will have more rust then where I live in California. Many places in the midwest have car wash places that wash the underside of your car in addition to the painted parts. I recommend using this as a means of getting the salt off.

Makes sense. Mom lives in the country, they don't salt roads in that area.
